The Database
Beacon for Freedom of Expression is an international bibliographical database about censorship and freedom of expression.
The bibliographic database contains references to more than 40,000 censored titles and more than 5,000 works on censorship and freedom of expression.
The database presently contains bibliographic information on:
- Recently censored books, newspapers, broadcasts and internet sites
- Censored books and newspapers from selected historical periods and historic cases
- International literature on censorship and freedom of expression
